Break Configuration Option Explanation

If global is enabled, the code will be visible from other companies. If not, it can only be used by its own company.
Break Code Any alphanumeric To set simple and unique code to define the break code.
Break Type

  • Schedule Break is taken the break within in the schedule time that set in working day.
  • Overtime Break is taken the break within in the schedule time that set when overtime work.
Payable

  • False
When payable is ticked, the system will include break hour into work hour.
Flexi

  • False
When flexi is ticked, it allow employee have flexible start and finish break time within limit of duration time that been set.
Break Range (From) Time format HH:MM To set a time value for the break start time.
Break Range (To) Time format HH:MM To set a time value for the break end time.
Duration Time format HH:MM To set a limited range of time for the break in how many hours and minutes.
Late Tolerance Time format HH:MM To set a time value for how many hours and minutes that the employee can late in and will not count as overbreak.
Overbreak if Clock Time Out of Break Time Range

  • Calculate According To Present Break Duration
  • Calculate According To Employee Break Duration
To set when employee break clock time is more than actual break time, there are three selection to choose based on company policy:

  • Calculate as overbreak.
  • Calculate according to present break duration – follow by the break time setting.
  • Calculate according to employee break duration – follow the exact break time by employee.
No Clocking
  • Calculate As Overtime
  • Calculate According To Present Break Duration
  • Calculate As Overbreak
  • No Break Deduction
To set if no clocking during in break time, there are four selection to choose based on company policy:

  • Calculate as overtime – If employee take break out of break time range.
  • Calculate according to present break duration – follow by the break time setting.
  • Calculate as overbreak – If employee break earlier than the duration of break time.
  • No break deduction.

This allow to set the employee break time within in overtime schedule, there are six selection to choose based on company policy:

  • None
  • OT3.0 Overtime 3.0  – When an employee work overtime, he/she will get triple overtime pay.
  • OT1.5 Overtime 1.5 – If an employee’s salary is lower than basic salary, when he/she work for extra time, he/she will get overtime pay.
  • OT 2.0 Overtime 2.0 – When an employee work overtime, he/she will get double overtime pay.
  • OT 1.0 Overtime 1.0 – If an employee’s salary is higher than basic salary, when he/she work for extra time, it will not count as overtime and will not have overtime pay.
